Halloween done the right way

    November 1, 2011 by Sarse

I don’t know how many of you went to this little shindig but I can tell you that even if you aren’t a mystic regular you would have went to one of the best parties of the year. With the well costumed getting free entry, a shot at the door for all and decorations the likes of which must have […]

    Autocorrect

    October 9, 2011 by Sarse

This phenomenon has recently come to my attention as being insanely funny; when it happens to other people.
Even more so if they have used more…potent terminology than is the norm. For autocorrect chooses the word that you use most from the letters that you typed.

    A few examples:
“What time will we start playing sexbot?
By sexbot I clearly meant sexbot!!
    ****ing sexbot*
    X B […]

More of my time-wasting internet for-lack-of-a-better-word “roaming” has led me to an article on eugenics. What is eugenics you might be asking?  An extract from the article will give you a basic idea:

“When Charles Darwin published his ground breaking theory of Natural Selection in 1859, it was received by the public with considerable vexation. One of the theories referred to […]

“Florida pastor, Michael Stahl has suggested that an organization and website be created that would keep track of known atheists. Pastor Mike compares atheists to […]

    Show stopping

    August 28, 2011 by Sarse

I might not be the greatest supporter of the arts, but I do enjoy them. I like art, music and plays. I like concerts, art galleries and seeing actors in…well action. And I do try and see them in the flesh if possible.

So I went an Afrikaans play in Cape Town this past Saturday and holy chickens flying over the […]

    Hostel fun

    by Sarse

I have been quite impressed with some of the events on campus. Large groups of people working together towards one goal. Now this is not about what you are thinking. These are those events which the hostels don’t talk about and no one should know who planned.

Firstly, I was in the bib one night. I had been working on a […]
